In early morning we had a meeting with Chief Operation, Chief of editor and whole staff Media Selangor. Myself has to attend this meeting and the agenda of the meeting is to announce about company team building suppose to go in this Friday have to postpone next month, due to a few matter involving with MB. A few of things about the company business have been announce during the meeting. After finish, I’m discussing with GB aliff about my project documentary. We contact the company for ask the procedure to shoot the video. I have to sent official letter from the company to get a permission from them. Later I will discuss with En. Amin about the letter. Today, I got 5 assignment to be done. 2 for daily dakwah and 3 from sport segment. For sport, this is my first time in editing in sport. Gladly, sport same like other segment and the different is on the montage video.

First day of the week, coming to the office as usual. Today get a new assignment for state government program promo video editing. Abg wak and kak ima guide me for this assignment. They show me the previous promo video as my references to get an idea and Technic how to create a promo video. This promo video is quiet different from others promo because is related with government agencies. So that I need to be more cooperate in my video editing. Alhamdulilah end the end, I can finish it. I also got a chance to discuss about my project topic and my sv suggest me to create a special documentary about Ladang teh in Selangor. Tomorrow i have to prepare for this project and start doing my project proposal.

Just can’t believe that, I just completed my first week internship at Media Selangor. Alhamdulilah, so far everything just fine. So for today I just practicing editing videos. Remember the step that I should followed and the content follow. I got a chance to do daily dakwah and just now I’m editing with my own without any observation but I had to refer with abg sam before submitting the content. In evening, I’m discussing with my sv Puan Marniza about my project proposal and about the team building event soon.

Today, I’m coming to the office early at 8.30 a.m. As usual in morning I do some research for editing in news content. Abg ayip a senior visual editor teach me how to do cut waste on news slot. He ask me to follow the guidelines on the template and compile the videos on the raw files given. It’s quiet hard little bit because on news they have 3 slot to compile.

I came to work as usual at 9 a.m. Today, I’m continue learning about video editing with Abg ayip, sam and kak farah. Kak farah show me how to create dakwah video slot and I manage to complete one dakwah video slot successfully. Since, today we don’t get many assignment, I get opportunity to learn about editing for news with abg sam and abg ayip. In the first phase, I study with abg sam how to compile the news video and secondly abg ayep teach me how to arrange the videos slot for news in video editing

Today, I started my training on VE Unit. VE unit have a few editor in video editing and graphic for TV Selangor. Kak Ima as my mentor in this training session for VE unit. She explained very well about how procedure how to edit the raw content. She ask to try editing a old video by following the guideline. Alhamdulilah, I can learn quickly how it work in editing and I also got the opportunity to editing 2 slot of videos which KLIK and Sport slot for news today. There are a few minor error and mistake in the video that I should be alert and improve for the next editing. In the evening session we had a meeting for all Tv staff regarding about next event and planning.

February 10, my first day for internship at Communication Corporate SDN. BHD. (Media Selangor). Reporting duty at 9 a.m with HR Manager, starting with briefing about the working schedule and allowances. For beginning, my training placement will be in TV unit for the first 2 month, after that going to Technical and Camera unit for 2 month and last in Conti Unit for last 2 month. After that, I got small briefing and discussion with my industrial supervisor Madam Marniza about the jobs scope and settling down my report duty form and a few documentation for my internship processes. For the first day task, she ask me to have a look about Media Selangor website and Youtube channel to know more about the company. I also got a chance to met and introducing myself to all staff in every department. In the evening, lucky had privilege to join news recording section in the studio.
